Important Note: This episode has a lot of wind noise we were not able to filter out. Nothing could be done to correct this, yet we felt the information presented was too important to not share with you. We decided to release this episode hoping you would be forgiving of the sometimes poor audio quality. Steps have been taken to insure this doesn't happen again. High on a remote hilltop sits an enigma. Scientists would have you believe massive structures of stone (locally called Chulpa's) were made by the Inca. They were not. The stones are like many found throughout south America, made of volcanic stone or granite, and cut to within incredible tolerances. They fit together perfectly with only a barely visible seam. However, we have seen such stone work belonging to cultures much older - tens of thousands of years older. You would also be ask to believe the Chulpa's (an Aymara word) were created to house the dead. In fact, they were used for the dead only the last few thousand years. Their original purpose has been lost to time thanks to invading Conquistadors and missionaries of the Catholic Church. Inside is a hollow chamber with a rough domed ceiling. The inside walls are smooth, the floor is covered with dirt. We have no idea if the original floor was recessed or not. There are other mysteries here as well. Magnetic stones, a star chart built on the surface of the ground are but a few of them. Some feel this was another place of the ancient Gods who ruled Teohuanaco, and built the Doorway of Aramu Muru. They are both close and share the same craftsmanship. Whatever Sillustani was, it now lies in ruin. Long forgotten meaning and secret codes built into this place are all that remain.
