This footage, originally 75 minutes of high definition digital video, was captured during a recent trip to Machu Picchu. It has been condensed into a 10 minute presentation. The music bed is by Byron Metcalf from his album "Not Without Risk".

We decided to shoot this video because so many of you have expressed an interest to be at this mountain sanctuary for the sunrise on June 21st. We hope you enjoy this experience as much as we have enjoy filming it for you.

June 21st is a very important day in Peru. It not only marks the shortest day of the year (first day of winter in the southern hemisphere), it also marks the festival of the Sun, Inti Raymi.

At 11:11am on December 21st, 2011 our current age ends and the next begins. We can only wonder what that sunrise, and our world, might be like.
