For centuries it has been rumored a tunnel system was used by the Inca. Because no one from our time has actually been into one of these and documented them, the Andean tunnel system is typically considered a popular myth told around campfires. The truth is far from this. Entry points and exits dot the mountainous landscape if you know where to look. These locations continue to be a closely guarded secret of the Andean people, the church, and treasure hunters. It is told there are vast caches of gold and other treasures hidden away in these tunnels.

I was trusted with the location of one such entrance over 15 years ago. At the risk of being arrested by the Peruvian police I decided it was time to show you these are real, not imagined fables. This is only one of several entrances we know of leading "Deep Across the Andes"...
