These are images Kathy created as she plotted the exact placement of stones and lines from photos taken at the Geometry Geoglyph on the Palpa desert in southern Peru. During her research for Episode 2: Secrets of the Sand, Kathy created these images from dozens of ariel photographs she took.

No one knows who created this design or why. All we know for sure is this large geoglyph is thousands of years old and etched with extraordinary precision. This is a place that has not seen any rain in recorded history. Though the terrain is uneven across a low plateau, it is exactly two diminsional when seen from high above.
